WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching, according to the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership. We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we are striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfillment.
THE VITALITY COACHING METHOD
The Vitality Coaching Method is an integrative coaching model rooted in mindfulness, strengths, values and wellbeing that takes the whole person (body, mind, spirit) into account.
It is informed by evidence, guided by intuition and taps into your inner resources and creativity. Each coaching relationship is unique and personalized and is co-created by both of us throughout the relationship.
How We'll Work Together:
Let's chat to get to know each other a little better and discuss what you're working on. It's your chance to ask me anything and for you to share your vision for the future and what's getting in your way. You'll have a chance to experience what it is like to coach with me and have us both focused on what you want to achieve.
Never been coached before? No worries. I'll guide you every step of the way.
Establish the Coaching Agreement:
If, after that free session, we both feel excited to partner together to work on what you'd like to achieve, we will co-create the initial coaching agreement (we'll talk about fees, scheduling and logistics) based on your goals, your timeline and your budget. The coaching agreement continues to be co-created on an ongoing basis.
Depending on your goals and what was discovered in our free session, you may be invited to complete a number of assessments to help inform and guide you on your coaching journey. In any journey it's important to first know where you are in order to figure out how to get to where you want to go.
Our first 'official' session together will be spent reviewing your assessment results and creating a personalized coaching plan.
After that initial session, you are encouraged to bring the focus to each call and we will co-create the agenda together, keeping your overall goals in mind. We will spend some time exploring what is getting in the way of accomplishing the agenda before moving into the action plan. You will leave each call with a solid, doable action plan that includes resources, support and accountability.
